Chuck tells me the story: Kepi Ghoulie came by the house today for a quick cof­fee on the way to the air­port to pick up Chixdig­git. He loved my poster!

Kepi said it’s just the sort of monster-y stuff he absolutely loves. Here’s my por­trait of Lon Chaney — Man of a Thou­sand Faces — from one of his great­est films, “Lon­don After Mid­night.” Kepi had a great story; he told me he once went to the house of “Famous Mon­sters” edi­tor, the late great For­est Ack­er­man, who actu­ally had the teeth Lon Chaney wore in this very film — in a jar by his bed.
