The Slackers play June 4, 2009 at Slim’s in San Francisco and Firehouse Kustom Rockart Co. artist Chuck Sperry screen printed, signed and numbered 100 gig posters for the event.

Chuck Sperry met the Slackers in Bern Switzerland where they shared the same band room. Little did he know that The Slackers and Vic Ruggiero their front man were going to keep popping up in his life at pivotal junctures. Vic sang for over an hour in the Street in front of one of Chuck’s art opening’s in Berlin, creating a wild mob. And wouldn’t you know it, The Slacker’s song “Andre The Giant” ends up in “American Artifact: The Rise of American Rock Poster Art” premiering in just a few short days!
